Iniswood Cottage is a south facing, bright and airy 900 sq ft., two level cottage that includes 1 large bedroom, 1 bathroom, a spacious common room and a full kitchen with everything you need for cooking. There is a large, south facing 500 sq.ft deck and a yard with two hammocks for lounging in the sun-dappled shade.

The cottage is fully furnished and includes a propane fridge and stove, propane bar-b-q, woodburning stove, running water and a full bathroom, including a clawfoot soaker tub. Our island wood retreat is the perfect way to get away from it all without bringing it all with you.

The cabin can sleep 2 – 4 people comfortably. The bedroom, located upstairs, has a double bed and there is a fold-out futon couch on the main floor. There are also two extra foam mattresses for extra people to use on the floor, in a tent or, our personal favorite, on the deck under the stars.

An alternative energy island, the cottage has no electricity, but is stocked with Coleman gas lanterns, which cast enough light for reading and socializing in the late summer evenings.
There is a 250 ft. deep freshwater well, powered by a generator, that feeds pure and clean water to the house.

The cottage is stocked with toilet paper, garbage bags, cleaning supplies, fuel for the lanterns, and propane canisters for the bar-b-q.

Food
There is no food in the cottage at all, bring everything you need. There is a small propane bar-b-q and the kitchen has everything you need for cooking meals, including pots, pans, cutlery, dishes, etc. Bring your own dishtowels.
Bring all of your groceries, as the Savary Island Store is limited in supply, expensive and 3 miles away.
There is a licensed general store in Lund to pick up last minute supplies before taking the water taxi.

Bedding
The cabin is stocked with four pillows, two quilts and a sleeping bag.
Bring your own sheets and pillowcases, bath and beach towels, dishtowels, and any extra bedding that you may need.

Candles and flashlights
There are plenty of candleholders for tealights and candlesticks.
Bring your own flashlights and candles.

Bikes
The cottage has two working mountain bikes (small frame and large frame), and a two-seater bike trailer for small kids. You can bring your bikes onto the water taxi for an extra fee of $3 per bike.

Beach toys, Badminton set, Soccer ball, Frisbee, Kayak - You get the picture!
